MERI is pleased to host a roundtable on post –Islamic State recovery in Nineveh Province. The aim is to engage local leaders and other stakeholders in designing a roadmap for the future reconstruction and recovery of Nineveh.
The event will be attended by the Governor of Nineveh, mayors of the various districts, the chairman and members of the Nineveh Provincial Council and representatives of the minority groups.
The participants will address various aspects of reconstruction, including :
- Governance, security and military,
- Assessment of infrastructure damage,
- Prospects of IDP return,
- Reconciliation
