MERI brings together individuals, companies and organizations who share interests in our programmes of research. MERI members include individuals and companies that have a diverse range of backgrounds and interests. They include academics, researchers, policy makers, diplomats, business people, the media and non-governmental organisations. Contributions from our members, through subscriptions and other donations, are a vital source of revenue that helps to sustain MERI’s independence.
Individual Membership
MERI Electronic membership
MERI-E-membership is Free. Registered E-members will receive electronic newsletters, announcements and essential information about upcoming events.
MERI Personal membership
MERI-P-membership costs $150 for 2015 but is Free for academics, students and non-profit organisations. P-members receive electronic information and are able to attend Members Events. They will have access to the Institute’s library and can request specific information about on-going projects, or provide specific suggestions, criticism and recommendations regarding the profile, operation and output of the Institute (as appropriate) and attend three activities/events at discount rate or free of charge (as appropriate). All membership applicants must agree to the Terms. Access to benefits (including attending events) will be available only once membership has been approved.
Corporate membership
MERI Standard Corporate membership
MERI-SC- membership (annual fee $5,000). SC membership provides member companies and organizations with unlimited access to MERI’s activities and services, including research, consultancy, media and conferences, as well as access to the organisation’s global network. Corporate members will receive privileged access to MERI news, releases and publications before they are distributed to the general public. Standard Corporate members can nominate up to four individuals, who will represent the company at MERI events. They will be invited to all open events, with enhanced networking and marketing opportunities. One-to-one briefings or access to MERI fellows and research fellows can be arranged upon request (additional consultancy fees apply).
MERI Premier Corporate membership
MERI-PC membership can be acquired by paying the annual fee ($10,000), making significant donations or funding research projects. These companies are given the same rights and privileges as Standard Corporate members. In addition, they are allowed to request face-to-face board-level briefings, one-to-one meetings with experts and face-to-face meetings with VIPs after special events. Premier Corporate members can nominate up to 10 individuals, who will represent the company at MERI events. They will be invited to relevant VIP receptions, given priority for opportunities to speak at events and offered special discounts for conference or meeting room hire.
