Covid Test (Mandatory)
To protect you and other guests, a recent negative Covid test is required for admission. Guests must provide a negative PCR test (not older than 48h) upon arrival; or arrive early in the morning (between 08:00-8:30 am) for a rapid antigen test (takes 15 min) before admission. Those who attend the evening reception on 25 October (when confirmed) can have the test done at Rotana.
Seating inside the conference hall is free, except for a small number of front seats that are usually booked for speakers or certain dignitaries.
Wireless Internet is available in all the hotels, and the conference venue, but the latter can be unreliable if overloaded.
Please use our twitter hashtag: #MERIForum
Sessions and panel discussions will be conducted in English, Arabic and Kurdish, with instant translation between all three.
During the Forum, speakers and up to 150 invited/sponsored participants will be offered complementary lunch. Those who requested attendance (via email or online, unpaid) and others who turn up without prior notice are expected to cover their own meals. There are several restaurant options available inside and outside the Rotana hotel.
The dress code is formal business attire for all sessions and events.
