Kristin Perry is a Research Fellow at the Middle East Research Institute. She procured her BA in English Literature through Cedarville University (US) and the University of Oxford (UK). She also holds a Graduate Certificate in Peace & Justice Studies from Villanova University. Kristin completed her MA in Conflict Resolution & Coexistence through the Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University, where she is a Topol Fellow in Nonviolence Practice. Additionally, Kristin has experience supporting integrative cross-community programs in post-conflict Northern Ireland, as well as designing and facilitating curricula on sociopolitical conflict and social action for youth within the Israeli-Palestinian conflict context. Her research interests include genocide studies; religion, identity, and conflict; fundamentalism and radical extremism; post-conflict reconstruction and resilience; and the building of shared societies.
