On the International Think Tank Day, 31 January, 2019, MERI is pleased to host a round table for stakeholders and experts to debate: Decentralisation and Devolution of Power in Kurdistan Region.
This is a timely session, defining the challenges facing the next Government and Parliament in the KRI, and a good opportunity to debate the role of the international community in supporting institutionalisation of the KRG.
Importantly, on this day, the 2018 Go To Think Tank Index Report will be launched by the Think Tanks & Civil Societies Program The Lauder Institute The University of Pennsylvania. It is a big day for all think tanks in the World where events are organised to debate ‘Why Think Tanks Matter‘.
