Sarah Louise is a PhD candidate with the School of International Relations at the University of St Andrews. She holds an MA in conflict studies and human rights from Utrecht University and an MA in refugee protection and forced migration studies from the University of London’s School of Advanced Studies. Her research interests are the interrelationship between conflict, gender and minorities and the role of grassroots activism and resistance in society within a conflict or post-conflict context.
