Dilan M. Rostam Roshani is a Non-Resident Associate Research Fellow at the Middle East Research Institute. His main interest is in Digital Transformation, Strategic Advisory, e-Collaboration and education as well as sustainable green policies. He obtained his B.Sc. and M.Sc in e-smart collaborative design from Chalmers University in Sweden and did his PhD and Postdoc in the University of Nottingham, UK. Dilan has extensive industrial experience in Digital Transformation strategies and applied IT in design work, with several published articles. He also has a long track record in applying IT in Education and initiated several projects such as KURDISTANICA and e-enabled Unified Kurdish Alphabet. Dilan worked as the Vice President for Scientific Affairs of Koya University, Bayan University and the President of Knowledge University, as well as a Digital Transformation adviser to the KRG Ministry of Higher Education, where he led the establishment of the first nation-wide Electronic University Admission System (Zankoline) and Human Capacity Development Programme (HCDP scholarship) in 2011.
