Emma Hesselink was a Research Assistant at MERI (Feb-May, 2019). She holds a BSc in Human Geography from Utrecht University and an MSc in International Relations from Leiden University. Currently, she is finishing her MA in Conflict Studies and Human Rights where she specializes in conflict resolution, consequences of (international) interventions and post conflict environments. Emma has worked as a project manager for an academic research centre connected to Leiden University, Erasmus University Rotterdam and Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands, focusing on development and innovation.
