MERI’s Democracy and Governance Programme initiated a process aiming at revising the current legislation that relates to Prevention of Violence Against Women. Following extensive debates among experts and wide consultation among relevant governmental and non-governmental organisations, we are ready to conclude the process. In this workshop on January 14, a final draft of a revised legislation will be prepared and submitted to Kurdistan Parliament. It is not too late to send your comments on the revision.
